Job Responsibilities:

Administer infrastructure services such as Active Directory, group policy, backup and restoration.

Contributing to the design, implementation, and enhancement of server setups (physical & virtual) and configurations.

Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers.

Manage and optimize VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, SAN Storage and HCI platforms.

Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive measures.

Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.

Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.

Collaborate with network & application teams for integrated infrastructure support.

Develop and implement DR and business continuity plans.

Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams.



Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a Server Administrator or similar role.

Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and HCI technologies.

Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux environments.

Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.



Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Possess additional IT certifications such as MCSE, ITIL Foundation, Cisco would be an added advantage.



Preferred Qualifications

Relevant certifications will be an advantage, such as: VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, Nutanix Certified Professional

Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.

Knowledge of cloud integration (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
