Role Summary:
The Project Engineer supports the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring technical requirements are met and facilitating smooth coordination among teams. This role plays a vital part in maintaining project timelines, quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Support

Review and interpret project drawings and specifications.

Provide technical guidance to on-site teams to ensure compliance with plans.

2. Site Coordination

Assist in coordinating daily on-site activities with contractors and suppliers.

Monitor progress and report deviations from the project plan.

3. Quality Assurance

Conduct inspections to verify that construction work aligns with technical requirements.

Ensure corrective actions are taken for identified defects.

4. Documentation

Maintain accurate records of project progress, technical details, and site activities.

Prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders as required.

5. Health & Safety Compliance

Enforce adherence to safety regulations on-site.

Participate in safety audits and implement recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

Knowledge of Malaysian construction regulations and standards.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years in a site-based or engineering consultant-based role.

Experience in infrastructure, high-rise or large-scale development projects.

High rise project experience preferred.
