Sales Operations Executive (Contract 12 Months)

Job Purpose and Description

To do this job, you need a general knowledge of wholesale vehicle trading in Malaysia and transfer of ownerships of these vehicles via JPJ.  This includes sellers (banks, insurance, fleet, corporate, dealers and private sellers) and buyers (car dealers, scrap dealers, repair shops, and private buyers) and the motives and motivators that drive their decisions.   You may have worked in the insurance claims or repossession processing industry, or in a business that provided services to the different segments of our customer base.

Your key to success is your ability to manage key relationships and manage bidder payments and follow up on offers made for vehicles with tenacity and ferocity.  

Above all, deliver outstanding customer service to both vendors and buyers to ensure we achieve maximum returns on every vehicle put to auction.  We think job descriptions can only go so far.  But to give you a flavour, here are some of the areas you’ll be responsible for:

Start-up thinking - making it happen and finding solutions when uncertainty arises.

Execution - our model is well established; you’ll be responsible for strategically tailoring the model for Malaysia and also directly involved in execution.  You will be directly accountable for our success.

Key Accountabilities

To liaise with both vehicle sellers and buyers on documentation for the transfer of vehicle ownership.

To liaise and make arrangements with Puspakom on vehicle checkings.

To perform actions for the transfer of vehicle ownership with JPJ, including the usage of the e-auto transfer system.

To liaise with both vehicle sellers and buyers on the outcome of auctions.

To close a high percentage of offers made on bids for vehicles

To assist in auction events.

To follow up on payments for auctioned items.

To handle customers’ enquiries.

Prepare reports as required.

Other duties as may be required to facilitate and complete sales operations for both sellers and buyers.
