SEO Content Writer

Position Overview:

Vuly Play is building a performance-driven SEO team that’s not just chasing traffic, but creating content that ranks, converts, and builds trust to join our satellite team in Kuala Lumpur.

We’re looking for an SEO Content Writer who understands that great content is more than keywords. You’ll be working on on-page SEO, content strategy, and conversion-focused writing, targeting international markets including Australia, USA, Canada, UK and European countries.

Key Responsibilities:

Write and optimise SEO content included landing pages, blogs, product pages

Turn keyword strategies into high-quality, engaging helpful content that meet search intent

Apply E-E-A-T principles to build authority and trust

Create helpful content and technical guide such as topic cluster/semantic topic

Able to know long-form, evengreen and skyscraper content style

Know the tone, manner, style which suit for users

Optimise on-page elements:

Titles, meta descriptions, headings

Internal linking and content structure

Refresh and improve existing content based on performance data

Collaborate with SEO team on keyword clusters and content briefs

Work closely with design and digital team to align content + visuals + UX

Adapt tone and language for AU, US, CA, UK, DE and FR audiences

Requirements:

2–3 years experience in SEO content writing or content marketing

Strong command of written English (native or near-native)

Background in English, Journalism, or similar (preferred)

Proven experience writing for international audiences (AU, US, CA or more)

Strong understanding of:

Search intent

Content structure for ranking

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong copywriting skills — you know how to hook, engage, and convert

Ability to think in visual storytelling (not just text blocks)

Experience working with designers or UI/UX teams

Experience in E-commerce or consumer products

Familiar with tools like Keyword Tools, Trends, or SEMrush
