Head of Plastic Division

Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Plastic Injection to lead our plastic injection manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in driving production efficiency, ensuring high product quality, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise in plastic injection processes, and a passion for operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Description

Lead and oversee all plastic injection production operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are achieved.

Manage daily production planning, manpower allocation, machine utilization, and material availability.

Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 6S, Kaizen, JIT, and TPM.

Monitor key production KPIs including output, downtime, rejection rates, and process efficiency, implementing corrective actions when required.

Ensure compliance with quality management systems, safety standards, and company policies.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Planning, Purchasing, and Product Development to support production objectives.

Lead, coach, and develop production teams to enhance productivity, skills, and engagement.

Optimize production processes and resources to improve cost efficiency and operational performance.

Maintain strong coordination with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and components.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in plastic injection or automotive manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and production operations.

Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 6S, or continuous improvement practices.

Proven leadership experience managing production teams in a manufacturing environment.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Experience in KPI-driven manufacturing environments.
