Site Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Site Supervisor (Data Centre) is responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations, maintenance, and construction activities within a Data Centre environment. This role ensures that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and company policies. The Site Supervisor will coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all on-site activities related to data centre construction, maintenance, and operations.

Ensure adherence to project schedules, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Monitor the performance of contractors, vendors, and technical staff.

Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues.

Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, local building codes, and company policies.

Conduct safety briefings and risk assessments for all site activities.

Coordinate installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems.

Ensure proper functioning of UPS, HVAC, power distribution units (PDUs), and fire suppression systems.

Assist in resolving technical issues and escalating when necessary.

Liaise with clients, project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.

Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and project progress.

Prepare reports on work progress, site conditions, and safety compliance.

Act as the first point of contact for on-site emergencies.

Implement emergency response plans and procedures.

Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.



Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in site supervision, preferably in a data centre or critical infrastructure environment.

Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in data centres.

Mandarin Speaker prefered to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
