Service Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Install, service, maintenance, commission, troubleshoot, and retrofit of cooling systems.

Troubleshoot systems to determine causes of operating errors and rectifying the problems.

Dismantle malfunctioning systems and replace worn & defective sub assembly.

Perform mechanical overhauls and refrigerant reclaiming.

Install expansion and control valves, compressor, condenser, and other refrigeration parts.

Perform troubleshoot, repair and maintenance on malfunction cooling systems.

Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with safety procedures.

Ensure safe keeping of hand tools, power tools and maintain good housekeeping.

Prepare service reports after every completed job.

Keep record & documentation of repairs.

Collect, deliver and install materials and supplies as and when required.

Communicate with clients with regards to problems in equipment and post-job reports.

Ad-hoc & other duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements:

Possess a minimum engineering technical certificate.

Able to work independently in outdoor conditions.

Job required heavy lifting, climbing, and handling of materials.

Able to speak and write Mandarin & English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.

Minimum 1 years’ experience in air-con system

Understanding of basic principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating

Good troubleshooting skills in air-con is an advantage.

Hot work brazing experience is an advantage.
