Customer Quality Engineer / Product Quality Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities
Customer & Product Quality
Act as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers on quality and technical matters

Handle customer complaints, ensure timely response, and drive effective resolution

Lead Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and 8D problem-solving for:

Customer complaints

Internal quality issues

Supplier non-conformances

Quality Systems & Compliance
Evaluate and improve quality systems and strategies to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements

Ensure adherence to standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100 (if applicable)

Support internal and external audits, including customer and certification audits

Cross-functional Coordination
Liaise with internal departments (production, engineering, procurement) to resolve quality issues effectively

Work closely with suppliers to improve incoming material quality and drive continuous improvement

Inspection & Documentation
Prepare and review inspection reports, First Article Inspection (FAI), and customer-required documentation

Manage submission of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and customer samples

Establish and maintain inspection and testing processes to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications

Incoming & Process Quality
Manage incoming material quality control and supplier performance

Monitor and improve in-process and outgoing quality control systems

Ensure effective implementation of QC tools and control plans
