Job Description

Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Accounting Tasks
-Record daily accounting transactions (sales, purchases, expenses).
-Maintain proper accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) records.
-Issue invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
-Assist with data entry into the accounting system.

2. Payment & Reconciliation
-Assist with bank reconciliation.
-Monitor customer payments and outstanding balances.
-Assist with supplier payments and payment records.

3. SST Compliance
-Assist with Service Tax (SST) documentation and calculations.
-Maintain proper records for tax compliance with the
-Royal Malaysian Customs Department.

4. E-Invoice Processing
-Assist in preparing and issuing e-invoices through the system required by the
-Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia.
-Ensure invoices are properly validated and recorded.

5. Financial Reporting Support
-Assist in preparing monthly accounting reports and schedules.
-Support the accounting team in preparing financial statements and audit documents.
-Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.

6. Administrative Support
-Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
-Assist with general administrative tasks related to accounting.

Requirements
-Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-1–3 years accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
-Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
-Familiar with accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, AutoCount, Xero, QuickBooks) is an advantage.
-Knowledge of SST and e-invoice processes is a plus.
-Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
