Account Manager (Hospitality Focused)

Key Responsibilities:

Prospect and generate high-quality leads targeting hotels, restaurants, cafes, and F&B operators.

Manage the full sales cycle - from lead generation, cold outreach, presentations, negotiations, to closing deals.

Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets to support the growth of the new guide project.

Conduct sales presentations and propose tailored partnership packages to decision-makers (Owners, GMs, F&B Directors, and Marketing Directors).

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key players in the hospitality and restaurant industry.

Represent the company at industry events, food & hospitality exhibitions, and networking sessions.

Understand client needs and effectively promote the value and prestige of being featured in the guide.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collaterals and campaign strategies.

Provide market feedback and insights to refine the guide’s positioning and offerings.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and developments in the Malaysian hospitality & F&B sector.

Requirements:

Minimum 1–3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in hotels or selling to hotels/restaurants/F&B establishments.

Candidates with experience working in hotels (e.g. Sales, Marketing or Revenue roles) or B2B sales experience targeting the hospitality and F&B industry are strongly preferred.

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or Marketing will be an advantage).

Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak Mandarin or other dialects will be a strong advantage.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with fieldwork and networking.

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders (hotel owners and restaurateurs).

Own transport and willingness to travel within Malaysia when required.
