Area Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:


The Area Manager will be expected to:

Lead, motivate, and manage team members to deliver excellent customer service and operational performance.

Ensure compliance with operational standards, including service quality, customer service, sales performance, and internal operational controls.

Drive branch performance through sales growth initiatives, expense management, and cost-saving measures.

Manage workforce planning and recruitment activities for assigned outlets.

Identify training needs and provide coaching and guidance to team members on sales targets, outlet operations, store management, and customer service objectives.

Supervise and evaluate Outlet Supervisors on branch cleanliness, sales performance, and customer experience standards.

Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.

Oversee branch administration, stock control, and safety compliance across assigned outlets.

Monitor operational effectiveness and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Plan and coordinate outlet-level marketing activities and campaigns with marketing teams and headquarters.

Ensure Point of Sales Materials are delivered and displayed according to campaign timelines.

Implement branch reviews and monitor operational reports to support outlet performance.

Prepare and oversee sales collections and daily cleaning schedules for outlet operations.

Handle and resolve customer complaints when necessary..

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Certificate, Diploma, or higher qualification in any related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in the retail industry.

Experience managing multiple outlets is required.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Customer-focused with the ability to build positive customer experiences.

High level of integrity and professionalism.

Strong attention to detail, particularly in reporting and operational monitoring.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
