Assistant Account Manager

About the role

This is a full-time Assistant Account Manager position based in Johor Bahru, Johor. Reporting to the management team, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting and financial management functions within the organisation. What you'll be doing

Oversee month-end closing, stocktake, and review entries done by the team.

Handle costing activities including monthly costing run, variance analysis, and margin analysis.

Prepare audit schedules, financial presentations, and support internal control improvements.

Lead ERP/system implementation and support daily finance operations.

Manage cashflow, review payments, and oversee CAPEX monitoring with ROI assessments.

Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, and prepare annual budgets and forecasts.

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance role.

Experience with SAP/ERP systems is preferred.

Able to work independently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Meticulous, organised, proactive, and self‑motivated.

Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

Manufacturing industry experience is an added advantage.
