Assistant General Manager- Plantation

What you'll be doing
-Oversee and manage the full spectrum of operations across a 10,000-acre plantation, including nursery management, land preparation, planting, field maintenance, harvesting, crop transport and estate infrastructure
-Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency and sustainability
-Oversee the supervision, training and development of plantation personnel
-Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
-Collaborate with the senior management team to align plantation operations with the company's overall business objectives
-Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
-Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and stakeholder engagements

What we're looking for
-Minimum 8-15 years of experience in a senior managerial role within the plantation or agricultural industry
-Strong understanding of plantation operations, including crop management, processing, and logistics
-Proven track record in developing and implementing strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
-Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
-Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
-Proficiency in relevant software and technology used in the plantation industry
-Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related field
