Job Description:
Preparation of accurate and timely financial reports (full set of accounts)/ financial information to internal and external parties in a timely and accurate manner

Preparation of financial analysis and identify major variances

Prepare and update group reporting requirements (immediate holding/holding) including simple consolidation

Prepare tax estimate and tax schedule for tax submission. Familiar with deferred tax computation

Preparation of budgets and budgetary controls

Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with subgroup (business units and inter-department) team on key issues

Ability to liaise with external auditors/tax agents/authorities when required

Familiar with balance sheet reconciliations, journal booking, GL entries

Compliance with Group SOPs, policies, and internal controls

To carry out any other duties as directed by the Company Management.

Participate in continuous process improvement projects and plans.

Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage



Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.

Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in handling full set of accounts, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and preparation of supporting schedules and documentation.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and local taxation requirements.

Highly meticulous and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage extensive financial documentation and ensure proper record keeping.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint.

Professional certifications such as MIA or ACCA will be an added advantage.

Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking abilities in financial analysis and reporting.

Able to work independently as an individual contributor, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial records and reporting.

Capable of meeting tight deadlines and performing effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Prior exposure in the manufacturing industry or audit background will be an added advantage.
