Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and overseas suppliers to achieve optimal quality, pricing, and delivery terms.

Build and maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships to support operational continuity.

End-to-End Procurement Management
Manage the full procurement cycle from purchase order issuance through delivery and invoice settlement.

Ensure purchasing records, pricing, and supplier data are accurate and up to date.

Cost & Budget Optimization
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or reliability.

Support procurement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and cost control.

Supplier Development & Negotiation
Qualify and develop new suppliers as alternative sourcing options.

Monitor supplier performance and lead negotiations to establish sustainable partnerships.

Contracts & Compliance
Assist in drafting and managing supplier contracts, including pricing and delivery terms.

Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and import/export regulations.

Leadership & Collaboration
Report to the Procurement Manager and support cross-functional teams on procurement initiatives.

Contribute to business-critical projects and ad-hoc assignments as required.



Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Procurement or Purchasing, preferably in a Manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of customs clearance and import/export processes.

Experience using ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; experience coordinating with international suppliers is an advantage.

Proactive, well-organised, detail-oriented, and collaborative with a leadership mindset.

Willing to travel between Nilai and Cheras (Corporate Office) as required.
