Assistant Sales Manager - Chemical Industry

Develop and execute sales strategy to increase the company’s product sales performance and profit.

Understand industry-specific trends and landscape by engagements with customers.

Appropriate visits to customers for the purpose of engagement, relationship building, networking, sales promotion of all company products and services.

Build and maintain long lasting, strong relationships with customers and agents while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.

To lead periodic review with team members to analyze performance and re-align strategies to ensure achievement of objectives.

Conduct market research and share insight on trends, competitors and product performance.

Represent the company professionally in all business dealings and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with product registration, importation and regulatory requirements.

Support customers service logistics and finance team to ensure smooth ordering processing and payment collection.



Requirements
Minimum Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Admin or its equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of working experience in chemical industry.

Manufacturing background is a MUST.

Computer literacy including familiarity in handling and maintaining a customer database and skills that include CRM, Microsoft Office and internet navigation.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Goal-oriented, energetic and self-driven

Willing to travel

Handles in the best interest of both customer and company
