Baker / Junior Baker

The Baker is responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards. The role ensures products are consistently fresh, visually appealing, and produced in compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and other bakery ingredients according to standard recipes.
- Bake bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other bakery products.
- Decorate and finish baked goods as required.
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality.
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and appearance.
- Follow production schedules to ensure products are available on time.
- Ensure cleanliness of the bakery, equipment, and workstations.
- Comply with Malaysian food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
- Monitor ingredient inventory and report shortages.
- Minimize product waste and control ingredient usage.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely.
- Assist with new product development and recipe improvements when required.
