Bicycle Mechanic

Requirements
-Possess a Secondary/SPM/'O' Level certificate or equivalent.
-Entry-level position; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
-Demonstrate a strong passion for cycling and bicycles.
-Exhibit basic knowledge of bicycle components and repair techniques.
-Ability to perform bicycle repairs, maintenance, and assembly tasks.
-Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries effectively.
-Maintain quality control standards in all repair and assembly work.
-Communicate effectively in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
-Willingness to learn and adapt to Brompton-specific bicycle technology.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
-Perform routine bicycle maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to tire changes, brake adjustments, gear tuning, and chain replacements, ensuring all bicycles meet Brompton's quality standards.
-Diagnose mechanical issues and provide accurate repair estimates to customers, explaining the necessary work and associated costs clearly and professionally.
-Assemble new Brompton bicycles according to manufacturer specifications, ensuring proper functionality and safety before delivery to customers.
-Conduct quality control inspections on repaired and assembled bicycles to identify any potential issues and ensure they are resolved before customer handover.
-Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained to facilitate efficient and safe operations.
-Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, offering technical advice, and resolving any concerns related to bicycle maintenance and repairs.
-Assist with inventory management by tracking parts usage, ordering supplies, and ensuring adequate stock levels to meet repair demands.
-Stay up-to-date with the latest bicycle technology and repair techniques through continuous learning and training opportunities provided by Brompton Malaysia.
