Boilerman Grade 1 (Power Plant)

What you'll be doing

Operate and monitor the power plant's boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency

Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on boiler equipment

Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, including logs, reports, and other documentation

Identify and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions in the boiler systems, and take appropriate corrective actions

Assist with the implementation of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

Collaborate with the wider plant operations team to ensure seamless integration and coordination of boiler-related activities

What we're looking for

Certified Boilerman Grade 1 qualification or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of experience in operating and maintaining boiler systems in a power plant or similar industrial setting

Strong technical knowledge of boiler systems, including their components, operating principles, and maintenance requirements

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and operating procedures

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring safe and efficient boiler operations

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing priorities and demands
