Business Development Executive/Senior Executive – based in Miri

Assist the Branch Head Kuching Branch in marketing activities in Miri & Bintulu and achieving annual production targets. Ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery to agents/customers.

Drive organic and non-motor business growth from existing agents and recruit new target agents in line with the Business Plan.



The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

· Support Banca channel including collection and system processing

· Support Franchise Channel with prompt response and update

· Conduct product briefing as and when needed

· Maintain and review renewals of all existing policies with all channel timely

· Advise and support agents/customers on their insurance needs and requirements.

· Conduct regular meetings with agents to address challenges and identify areas for improvement.

· Prepare insurance quotations and carry out necessary surveys.

· Ensure timely collection of outstanding premiums in line with Finance SOP.

· Monitor and ensure policies are processed and delivered within agreed turnaround times (TAT).



Job Specification:

Diploma / Degree in any relevant studies field

(AMII / ACII / DMII or equivalent insurance qualifications is an added advantage)

Min 5 years working experiences in the related field is required for this position with sound technical knowledge in all classes of insurance.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.

Mature personality and able to work effectively at all levels of organization.

Team player and able to achieve result, initiative & concern for quality.
