About the role
The Business Development Executive (Junior – Account Management & Growth) focuses on managing assigned client accounts, maintaining strong relationships, and identifying upselling opportunities within existing sales funnels. This role plays a key part in ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and sustainable revenue growth through excellent service and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities
1. Account Management & Client Servicing
● Manage a portfolio of assigned client accounts
● Act as the main day-to-day point of contact for clients
● Maintain positive, professional, and trusted client relationships
● Understand client needs, objectives, and ongoing challenges
● Ensure timely responses, follow-ups, and clear communication
● Support issue resolution and escalate when necessary

2. Upselling & Sales Funnel Growth
● Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing clients
● Proactively recommend relevant services, solutions, or add-ons
● Support the Senior or BD Manager in converting opportunities into confirmed scopes
● Track and manage sales funnels for assigned accounts
● Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and scope extensions

3. Service Quality & Client Experience
● Ensure clients receive consistent and high-quality service
● Coordinate internally with Creative, Strategy, and Ops teams
● Manage expectations on scope, timelines, and deliverables
● Support smooth handover between sales and delivery teams
● Collect client feedback and flag risks early

4. Reporting & Account Health Tracking
● Maintain accurate account and pipeline records
● Track upsell opportunities, renewals, and account performance
● Support reporting on revenue, retention, and growth metrics
● Ensure documentation and commercial details are kept up to date

5. Learning & Growth Exposure
● Learn commercial thinking, pricing basics, and client management skills
● Observe and support senior-level client conversations
● Build confidence in handling accounts independently over time
● Continuously improve communication, sales, and relationship skills



Job Requirements

● Minimum 1 year experience in Account Executive, Client Servicing, Sales Support, or Business Development roles
● Experience in agency, marketing, media, or digital industries preferred
● Strong communication and relationship management skills
● Service-oriented mindset with commercial awareness
● Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
● Comfortable with basic sales conversations and recommendations related preferred
