Business Operation Manager / Area manager / GM - fashion industry

Japan branded fashion retailers, currently start the new business in Malaysia.

This position will need to oversee the entire store operations, including P&L, budgeting, cost control while ensuring regulatory compliance, drive operational efficiency, improve customer service, manage the team, set goals aligned with business objectives, and monitor KPIs and sales performance to maximize the brand presence and business result.



Lauched our new business in Malaysia/lead store setup and prepare necessary equipment for store opening

Plan/execute store operation structure with a deep understanding in the market, corporate culture and brand item/history

Report business operation result/any issues to management on regular basis

Train/closely communicate with subordinates to maintain store operation with high standard

Manage store staff schedule, conduct the OJT including product knowledge and lead the store to achieve sales target

Manage inventory/loss and arrange replenishment on regular basis

Monitor/manage merchandising plan and execute improvement plan based on corporate direction

Any other ad-hoc duty as assigned by management team


■MUST TO HAVE:

More than 5 years of working experience as a manager role in related retails industry

Strong leadership, ability to effectively communicate, influence and negotiate with all levels of employees

Experience in recruiting/training store crews (including recruiting full-time or part-time worker)

Rich knowledge of retail mall and strong network with landlord/developers

Fluency in communication in both spoken & written

Familiarity with Microsoft office

Experience in fashion/apparel, reuse products, jewelry, beauty, luxury brand is highly welcomed

Experience with new business setup is a plus

Japanese fluency is a plus
