C&S Design Engineer

Job Description

Lead structural and civil design for earthworks, silt traps, OSD tanks, road and drainage systems, sewerlines, and water reticulation, ensuring compliance with standards.

Lead drafting and 3D modeling using Tekla or similar platforms, including framing, preliminary design, and detailing of slabs, beams, columns, walls, and foundations.

Review and ensure accuracy of calculations, technical reports, and design documents in accordance with Eurocode, British Standards, and regulatory authority checklists.

Coordinate and manage project submissions, ensuring timely approvals and compliance with architectural and engineering requirements.

Identify and resolve technical and site challenges, optimizing designs and raising issues found during drafting to maintain project efficiency.



Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; professional accreditation (IEM, BEM) is a plus.

At least 5 years of experience in C&S design, coordination and project execution in building projects.

Proficient in Tekla, AutoCAD, and structural analysis software; strong understanding of Eurocode, British Standards, and local regulations.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate across disciplines and resolve site challenges.
