Job Description
Dealer Marketing Manager is responsible for leading marketing initiatives across dealer network in Malaysia. Ensuring effective execution of national marketing campaigns and strong alignment between brand strategy and dealer-level activities. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role plays a critical role in driving dealer marketing performance, supporting lead generation, and maintaining brand consistency across all dealer touchpoints. The Dealer Marketing Manager will oversee dealer campaign planning and execution, audit campaign claims and compliance, and ensure national marketing initiatives are effectively integrated across the dealer network to maximize impact and sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
1.Dealer Marketing Strategy & Execution
Lead and coordinate marketing initiatives across the dealer network to support sales growth and showroom traffic.
Work closely with dealers to plan and execute local marketing campaigns, activations, roadshows, and promotional activities.
Ensure dealer marketing activities align with the brand guidelines, campaign messaging, and national marketing strategy.
Provide guidance and best practices to dealer partners on marketing planning and campaign execution.
2.National Campaign Integration
Integrate and roll out national marketing campaigns across the dealer network to ensure consistent execution and messaging.
Coordinate with HQ, sales teams, and dealer partners to localise and implement nationwide marketing initiatives.
Ensure dealers are equipped with the appropriate campaign materials, assets, and timelines for effective implementation.
Monitor campaign performance and provide feedback to optimize future initiatives.
3.Dealer Campaign Governance, Audit & Compliance
Review and approve dealer marketing proposals and campaign plans to ensure alignment with brand and marketing objectives.
Audit dealer marketing campaign claims and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with marketing policies and guidelines.
Track dealer marketing spend and ensure claims are submitted accurately and in accordance with approved budgets.
Maintain proper documentation and reporting for all dealer marketing activities and claims.
4.Performance Tracking & Reporting
Monitor dealer campaign performance, lead generation, and showroom traffic resulting from marketing initiatives.
Provide regular reporting andinsights to the Head of Marketing on dealer marketing effectiveness and ROI.
Identify opportunities to improve marketing performance across the dealer network through data-driven insights.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Dealer Network, Aftersales, and HQ teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and business objectives.
Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and brand initiatives at the dealer level.
Ensure timely communication and coordination between internal teams and dealer partners to drive effective campaign execution.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 4 to 6 years of marketing experience, preferably with exposure to dealer, distributor, or retail network marketing.
Proven experience managing dealer marketing programmes, campaigns, or retail marketing initiatives.
Strong understanding of campaign execution, dealer engagement, and marketing compliance processes.
Excellent project management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across internal teams and external partners.
Experience in automotive, EV, or retail industries is highly advantageous.
