Designer (Architectural)

What you'll be doing

To carry out design on specific areas of architectural works.

To assist to coordinate and monitor the design function in respect to all architectural works.

To assist to check design input for adequacy, compliance with statutory requirements, review, verify and validate design output and controlling design changes and modifications.

To prepare architectural concept drawings and construction drawings as and when required.

To coordinate with the customers and other sections for the completeness of architectural works.

To assist in preparing of Project Design Programmes, Authorities Submission Schedule and CF inspection schedule for each project.

To assist to review external consultants design output as per procedures and work instructions.

To ensure conformance to the design and development procedures of the Kajima Total Management Systems.

What we're looking for

Degree in Architecture or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural design and drafting.

Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.

Good understanding of architectural design and UBBL compliance requirements.

Experience in carrying out design coordination with external consultant & client.

Strong technical skills in areas like building regulations, construction methods, and materials.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
