Job Description
Job Responsibilities
1. Digital & Social Media Strategy & Content Planning:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for the assigned portfolio, aligning with brand goals and target audience preferences.
Create detailed content calendars that outline key themes, festive period, campaign launches, and posting schedules.
Set clear objectives and KPIs for each social media content to measure success and track monthly budgets set.
Compile quarterly competitive analysis for all competitor brands – trend analysis, new tech updates on soc med platforms, content formats, and marketing offers
Collaborate with Marketing & E-commerce teams to ensure cohesive messaging and integration with broader campaigns.
2. Content Supervision & Coordination:
Lead the planning and production of content with the Content Creator & Designer, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence.
Provide creative direction and clear content briefs that align with brand identity and campaign objectives.
Supervise the creation of various content formats, including videos, graphics, reels, and stories, ensuring high-quality output.
Develop storytelling angles that reflect the unique brand identities of Alicafe (Drive content that reflects energy, focus and everyday strength. Content should feel grounded, relatable and culturally relevant to Malaysian consumers) and Per’l (Drive content that reflects beauty, self-care and confidence. Content should feel real, modern and relatable to women)
3. Community Management & Engagement:
Monitor and respond to social media interactions promptly and professionally to build a positive brand image.
Develop engagement strategies to encourage community participation through interactive posts, challenges, and Q&A sessions.
Cultivate brand advocacy by identifying and nurturing loyal followers and potential brand ambassadors.
4. Influencer & KOL Collaboration:
Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with influencers and key opinion leaders (KOLs) relevant to both brands.
Develop partnership strategies to maximize reach and brand visibility through influencer content.
Oversee content approvals and ensure consistent messaging that aligns with brand values.
Track and evaluate the performance of influencer collaborations, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize impact.
5. Performance Tracking & Insights Reporting:
Analyze the performance of social media campaigns and generate comprehensive reports on key metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, conversions and ROIs) for key campaigns/on quarterly basis
Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Socialbakers) to assess the effectiveness of content strategies and campaigns.
Present insights and recommendations to the Head of Creative Communications and larger team on monthly performance of our content and pick up on learnings to avoid overspending/how to optimise better, leveraging on matrix of balancing influencers + creators + own content.
Monitor social sentiment and community feedback on product sentiments, share them periodically through our internal meetings.
6. E-commerce Alignment:
· Work with e-commerce team to align product pages, affiliate content, livestream content and promotional visuals.
7. Leadership material:
· To have a camaraderie spirit in managing a small team (or subordinate), is capable to delegate workload fairly and also work independently.
· Willing to do all it takes to ensure team is in check, motivated, and driven to show results.
· Has a keen eye to learn and also ability to teach and guide.
Job Requirements
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Work Experience
3–5 years of relevant experience in social media, content marketing, or digital marketing
Experience in the FMCG industry will be an added advantage
Technical & Functional Skills
Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and e-commerce content strategies
Experience working with influencers and content creators
Ability to manage multiple brands and timelines concurrently
Proficiency in CapCut and Canva for quick editing and presentation preparation
Strong project management and coordination skills
Language Requirements
Good written and spoken communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English

Practical, execution-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across teams
