Distributor Manager - Kota Bahru

Job Responsibilities

Business Planning & Execution

Develop and implement annual and monthly business plans aligned with distribution agreements.

Translate strategic objectives into clear operational action plans to drive execution excellence.

Performance Management

Monitor and achieve monthly sales targets, volume targets, and key KPIs.

Track overall performance of both the distribution house and field team to ensure business growth.

Distributor & Stakeholder Management

Engage and consult with distributors on financial planning, investment decisions, and business strategies.

Maintain regular communication with the supplier and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance.

Field Force Management

Recruit, train, coach, and retain field staff.

Manage staff turnover and ensure high team morale, discipline, and productivity.

Operational & Inventory Management

Ensure smooth stock lifting operations.

Maintain optimal Stock Coverage Ratio to support sales performance.

Expense & Cost Control

Monitor and manage business operating expenses to ensure cost efficiency.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with relevant managers and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of business strategies.


Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, distribution, FMCG, or related industry.

Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing KPIs.

Strong distributor management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience in managing and leading a field sales team.

Good analytical skills with strong business acumen.

Ability to manage budgets and control expenses effectively.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Willing to travel as required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
