Job Description
Job Purpose:
Lead, drive and plan the overall trading area through effective execution of sales plan with both internal and external stakeholders, uphold the MESRA brand in delivering superior customer experience, ensure compliance of operational and HSE standards, develop dealers' entrepreneurial skills and maximize networks' potential, maximize benefit of promotional campaign, uphold relationship with community and execute market intelligence in order to achieve the maximum sales revenue, targeted growth and optimum profitability based on Kedah & Perlis.
Principal Accountabilities:
Sales Plan & Implementation
Execute and monitor the performance and operation of MESRA Convenience store within the trading area by reviewing and analyzing sales growth, recommend corrective measures to improve sales, enforce station to adhere to business operating standards and sustain operational excellence to enhance sales performance and its profitability, increase market share and maintain the quality and consistency of brand experience.
Operation & HSE Excellence
Deliver the best retail standard by managing / monitoring the inventory management, supplier management, planogram, layout, merchandising, housekeeping, customer service, promotion, software and hardware workability, partners, complaint, and excellence HSE compliance (adherence to guideline / manual / policy and governance).
Dealer Management
Provide guidance / consultation to dealers in developing their entrepreneurship skill, commitment, and compliance during site visit / meeting / training in ensuring stations being operated at the best condition (compliance, service, equipment, outlook, HSE) prior to deliver the superior customer experience.
Store Performance & Management
Monitor the sales performance of trading area by performing scheduled sales analysis, determine signs of dealers’ financial issue, suppliers’ distribution performance, recommend necessary closing action that needs to be performed such as sales initiative, market intelligence, dealer’s management via appropriate tools, engagement with suppliers/partners/relevant parties and overall business review consultancy with dealers in order achieve the store performance objectives.
Promotional & Marketing Management
Execute the highest standard of promotional compliance by providing analysis on promotion’s effectiveness, ensuring full commitment from dealers and suppliers as well as conducting the necessary campaign / program to reach the community’s support and awareness.
Network Management
Execute and identify the potential business improvement and network development especially for new station opening, re-opening, upgrading, conversion and partners’ venturing via strong collaboration with relevant internal / external stakeholders, analyze and research on market trend on localized demand to ensure continuity of PDB's business interest and minimal disruption to the station's operations.
Additional Tasks & Responsibilities
Any other duties or ad-hoc tasks as may be assigned by the superior or management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing and other related disciplines
Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing, Retail Business Operations or any other related area
