Fashion Designer / Fashion Merchandiser

Job Responsibilities:

Position 1 - Fashion Designer

Planning for the Merchandise Designs for the brand.

Creating Proposal Mood boards for Thematic concepts (Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly) based on market research/online research on upcoming fashion trends. Colour and fabric trend research.

Proposing silhouette designs based on requests to match the concept ideas.

To do planning ahead for Fashion Research on upcoming trendsetting.

To support graphic ideas /printing/designs etc.

To support ideas for all required detailings (lace, embroidery, beadings and accessories)



Position 2 - To Support Merchandising

To prepare design sheet

To prepare stock cards for all departments in charge.

To prepare Production sheet and Work in Progress (WIP) to ensure delivery date as scheduled for all departments in charge.

To prepare Weekly Cutting Report

To arrange samples for photo shooting and return to the warehouse

To ensure sample product measurement following size specification for all departments in charge.

To ensure all accessories detailing as per confirmation orders (Design Sheet)

To prepare allocation qty for stocks delivery



Job Requirements:

Minimum Diploma or Degree holder in related field

Ability to work with details and time-sensitive issues

Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations.
