BRIEF

As the Finance Manager at the plant (manufacturing), you will be responsible for leading all aspects of financial. This includes overseeing budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, compliance, and general administration. Your role is crucial in supporting plant operations with strategic financial insights, ensuring accurate data, governance compliance, and optimal resource planning. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and Head of Finance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Full Set Accounts & Reporting

Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, accruals) for plant operations.

Lead month-end and year-end closing, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with MFRS and corporate policies.

Ensure all reconciliations and audit schedules are completed on time.

Submit accurate monthly reports to Group Finance.

Budgeting & Cost Control

Lead budgeting and forecasting for plant operations.

Monitor manufacturing cost, overheads, and operating expenses.

Analyse variances and drive cost efficiency initiatives.

Compliance & Audit

Ensure compliance with tax, statutory regulations, and corporate governance.

Support internal and external audits and resolve audit issues.

Strengthen internal controls and improve finance SOPs.

Business Partnering

Provide financial insights to support plant decision-making.

Support capex evaluation, costing analysis, and operational planning.

Monitor working capital, inventory, and credit control.
