Finance Manager

Responsibilities

Develop annual budgets, mid‑term forecasts, and long‑range financial projections.

Deliver analytical insights and recommendations to senior leaders to support critical business decisions.

Review financial results routinely to highlight performance patterns, cost variances, and areas for optimization.

Manage the timely production of monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial reports.

Oversee day‑to‑day accounting activities including general ledger oversight, account reconciliation, and journal entries.

Ensure reporting accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting frameworks such as IFRS/MFRS as well as statutory requirements.

Track liquidity levels and ensure effective cash management across the business.

Maintain strong working relationships with banking partners and optimise usage of working capital.

Supervise disbursement processes, ensuring prompt settlement of obligations such as vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and statutory contributions.

Ensure adherence to all financial, tax, and regulatory obligations.

Act as the main liaison for external auditors and facilitate smooth audit exercises.

Strengthen internal control practices and keep financial procedures up to date.

Guide, coach, and support members of the finance and accounting team.

Allocate responsibilities effectively while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and high performance within the department.

Collaborate with management on strategic planning, investment evaluations, and financial risk considerations.

Contribute to financial modelling, cost reviews, feasibility studies, and pricing initiatives to support growth opportunities.



Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.

Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are advantageous.

At least 5–7 years of hands‑on finance/accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and corporate finance methodologies.

Ability to converse in Chinese is compulsory.
