Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risks effectively.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

Maintain hands-on involvement in financial processes, including accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger management.

Supervise a team of finance support staff and junior accountants.

Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to develop team members' skills and capabilities.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Optimize cost structures and operational efficiency to maximize profitability.

Implement internal controls and risk management strategies to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.

Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline financial operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic initiatives.

Partner with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Serve as a key liaison with external stakeholders including auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.



Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is preferred.

Membership in the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) is required.

Proven experience in financial management roles within the food & beverages industry, with hands-on experience in all aspects of accounting and finance.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop team members.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
