FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING

What you'll be doing
-Preparing and reviewing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements
-Performing general ledger reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of accounting entries
-Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
-Collaborating with the finance team to improve financial processes and controls
-Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and other relevant laws and policies
-Providing financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making
-Participating in internal and external audits, and implementing any necessary corrective actions
-Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the finance team

What we're looking for
-A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
-At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, preferably in a similar industry
-Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
-Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets and other financial management tools
-Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance
-Proficient in Malay, English, Chinese communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
