Food Chemist/Food Analyst (Certified)

We are looking for a MOH-certified Food Analyst / Food Chemist to join our Quality team. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate laboratory results, compliance with food safety standards, and maintaining high product quality.

What is the role about?

Approve Certificates of Analysis (COA)

Supervise QC laboratory activities in accordance with HACCP, GMP, FSSC22000, ISO 17025 & customer requirements

Maintain Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) to ensure accurate and timely results

Prepare and standardize chemical solutions

Operate and maintain lab equipment (e.g., spectrometer, Milkoscan)

Conduct chemical analysis on raw materials, intermediates & finished goods

Review and verify data to ensure products meet quality specifications

Prepare COA and analytical reports for customers/regulatory bodies

Handle chemicals safely and ensure proper waste disposal

Assist in customer complaint investigations and ensure timely closure

Communicate with suppliers, customers & authorities on food safety/ISO matters



Are you the one?

Possess a valid Food Analyst Certificate (Registered with MOH) — Mandatory

Minimum 3 years’ experience in food industry QC or laboratory operations

Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field

Knowledge of ISO9000, ISO 17025, FSSC22000, HACCP & GMP

Strong analytical, communication & problem-solving skills

Knowledge in SAP are advantageous.
