Job Description
We have a new opening for a contract-based General Accounting position

Responsibilities include:

Perform monthly accounting close and balance sheet reconciliations

Prepare and post journal entries, analyze financial statements and ledger activities, and provide written variance analysis

Interact with the operations team and other financial organizations to drive process improvements, simplification, and other ad-hoc projects

Conduct Financial Review analysis and provide fluctuation commentary

Handle internal and external audit processes for statutory audits and/or quarterly reporting

Participate in continuous process improvement projects, work closely with business partners to address exceptions, and close identified gaps

Maintain compliance with corporate accounting policies and ensure consistent processes across the region and globally

Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant professional qualification

Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an accounting firm or MNC

Experience with all facets of monthly accounting cycles and financial reporting

Excellent communication skills, proficient in English

Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Oracle user knowledge and SOX experience is an added advantage

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to multi-task

Results-oriented, flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a team player

Able to work independently and communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
