Job Description
Strategic Leadership
Lead the overall management and business performance of the language school.
Develop and execute annual business plans, growth strategies, and operational objectives.
Drive continuous business expansion while ensuring operational excellence.
Report directly to the Board of Directors on business performance and strategic initiatives.
International Marketing & Business Development (Primary Focus)
Develop and execute international marketing strategies to increase overseas student enrolment.
Identify and penetrate new international markets.
Build strategic partnerships with overseas education agents, universities, schools, embassies, and corporate partners.
Lead international recruitment campaigns, education fairs, roadshows, and promotional events.
Develop digital marketing strategies across social media, search marketing, and online advertising.
Monitor marketing ROI, lead generation, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
Strengthen the school's international brand positioning.
Student Recruitment & Sales
Lead the student recruitment team to achieve enrolment targets.
Develop recruitment strategies for both local and international students.
Improve enquiry conversion and student admission processes.
Monitor sales performance, pipeline management, and recruitment KPIs.
Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the student journey.
Operations Management
Oversee the daily operations of the language school.
Ensure smooth collaboration between academic, administration, marketing, and student services departments.
Improve operational efficiency and service quality.
Implement SOPs and best practices across the organisation.
Financial Management
Prepare annual budgets and revenue forecasts.
Monitor operational costs and profitability.
Manage marketing budgets effectively to maximise ROI.
Ensure business targets and financial goals are achieved.
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop department managers and staff.
Establish KPIs and performance management systems.
Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-focused culture.
Conduct regular performance reviews and staff development programmes.
Partnership Development
Build long-term relationships with:
International education agents
Universities
Schools
Government agencies
Corporate partners
Explore new revenue opportunities including:
Corporate training
Language programmes
Study tours
Short courses
Student placement services
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with education regulations and licensing requirements.
Maintain high service standards and operational excellence.
Protect the school's reputation through effective governance and risk management.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Education, International Business or related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of management experience.
Strong experience in international marketing and overseas market development.
Proven track record in business development and student recruitment.
Experience leading sales and marketing teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
Experience in education, language schools, universities, or international student recruitment is highly preferred.
Familiarity with digital marketing, CRM systems, and performance analytics.
Willing to travel overseas for business development and international education fairs.
