📌Position: Group Business Manager - Mall

🕒Working Time: Mon – Friday, 9am-6pm (Fully Onsite)

📍Location: Bandar Utama (MRT able to access)



🎯 Key Responsibilities:

(1) Strategic & Operational Oversight

Develop and implement strategic business plans for each entity to ensure alignment with long-term group goals.

Standardize operational workflows across the portfolio to improve efficiency and scalability including integrating Group-wide SOPs into the businesses.

Monitor daily activities to ensure smooth execution of business-specific programs and initiatives.

(2) Strategic Business Development

Seek, identify and evaluate potential strategic investments in new businesses that align with portfolio and Group goals

Onboard and integrate new businesses into the portfolio

(3) Financial & Performance Management

Manage budgets, P&L statements and cash flows for each business within the portfolio.

Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare monthly performance reports for senior leadership.

Identify and implement cost-saving measures and revenue-generating strategies.

(4) Team Leadership & Supervision

Supervise and mentor site managers, fostering a culture of accountability and productivity.

Oversee human resources functions, including hiring, training and performance evaluations across all locations.

Facilitate communication between the executive team and staff at individual business units.

(5) Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure all businesses adhere to legal, safety and industry-specific regulations.

Manage relationships with key vendors and oversee contract negotiations.

Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect the portfolio’s assets.



📝 Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 8+ years in business management with proven experience managing multiple businesses or a diverse portfolio of investments.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.

Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial modelling, budgeting, and P&L management.

Business management skills: Strong and deep experience in running varied businesses from the ground up that includes mastery in sales, marketing, business operations, cost control, financial management and building high performance teams. Experience with e-commerce businesses is a plus.

Leadership: Exceptional ability to lead distributed teams and manage through influence.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM and ERP software, project management tools and advanced Excel for data analysis.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify market trends and pivot strategies across different industries.
