Hardware Engineer – Server / GPU Systems

Key Responsibilities

Support system bring-up and debugging during NPI (EVT/DVT/PVT builds)

Perform hardware troubleshooting on:

Server motherboards, GPU cards, power systems, interconnects

Conduct failure analysis at PCBA and system level

Work with manufacturing to resolve yield and production issues

Execute validation testing (thermal, stress, burn-in)

Provide feedback on DFM/DFA to customers and design teams

Collaborate with regional teams (e.g. Taiwan/China) on issue resolution

Support on-site at factory floor during builds and ramp-up

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering

3–8 years of relevant experience in:

EMS / ODM / electronics manufacturing (Penang/Kulim/Johor preferred)

Strong hands-on experience in:

Board-level and system-level debugging

Power and high-speed interface (PCIe, DDR, networking)

Familiar with SMT, PCBA, and box-build processes

Comfortable working in a factory environment (production floor exposure)

Hands-on, practical problem solver (not purely design-focused)

Able to work under tight NPI timelines and production pressure

Strong teamwork across engineering, production, and quality

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in server, GPU, or data center products

Exposure to thermal and power-intensive systems

Experience supporting MNC customers (US/TW/CN)

Mandarin communication is a plus (for regional coordination)
