Job Description

Job Summary
The Head of Human Resources is responsible for leading and managing the full spectrum of HR functions, with a strong focus on compensation & benefits, payroll, and overall HR operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals

Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and key stakeholders on HR matters

Lead and mentor the HR team to deliver high-quality HR services

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across all levels

2. Compensation & Benefits
Design, review, and manage competitive compensation structures

Oversee employee benefits programs (insurance, bonuses, allowances, etc.)

Conduct market benchmarking and salary reviews

Ensure internal equity and external competitiveness

3. Payroll Management
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Ensure compliance with local tax laws, statutory requirements, and reporting

Manage payroll vendors/systems and resolve discrepancies

4. HR Operations (Generalist Scope)
Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures

Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution

Maintain accurate HR records and reporting

5. Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, department heads, and external partners

Effectively influence and manage expectations across diverse stakeholder groups

Act as a key point of contact for HR-related matters, ensuring alignment and clear communication

6. Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements

Update HR policies in line with legal and organizational changes

Manage audits and HR documentation

7. Performance & Talent Management
Drive performance management processes and frameworks

Support leadership in talent development and succession planning

Identify training and development needs

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

8–12+ years of HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role

Strong expertise in compensation & benefits and payroll management

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

Solid knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices

Experience in HR systems (HRIS, payroll systems)

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
