Head of Production

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations
-Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
-Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders.
-Ensure machines, equipment, and manpower are utilized efficiently.
-Identify and resolve production issues, delays, or quality problems promptly.

People Management
-Lead, motivate, and supervise production operators and line leaders.
-Assign tasks, manage manpower planning, and control attendance and overtime.
-Conduct on-the-job training and coaching to improve skill levels and productivity.
-Enforce discipline and company rules in accordance with company policies.

Quality Control
-Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
-Work closely with QA/QC to address defects, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
-Promote quality awareness among production staff.

Safety & Compliance
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations, SOPs, and workplace policies.
-Promote a safe working environment and conduct regular safety briefings.
-Report and investigate accidents, incidents, or near misses.

Reporting & Documentation
-Prepare daily production reports, attendance records, and performance summaries.
-Update production data and communicate issues to management.
-Assist in audits, inspections, and management reviews when required.

Continuous Improvement
-Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
-Support implementation of 5S, Lean, Kaizen, or other improvement programs.

What we're looking for:
-Minimum 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
-Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and inventory management
-Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
-Ability to lead and motivate a team, with effective communication and interpersonal skills
-Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
-Familiarity with relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations
