Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
-Source, screen, and hire the right talent to meet organizational needs.
-Ensure smooth recruitment processes (job posting, shortlisting, interview coordination, offers).
-Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future needs.

2. Onboarding & Offboarding
-Provide seamless integration for new hires through structured orientation programs.
-Manage employee exit processes professionally, ensuring compliance and capturing feedback.

3. Payroll & HR Administration
-Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
-Maintain proper HR records, contracts, and employee databases.
-Generate HR reports to support decision-making.

4. Employee Relations & Discipline
-Act as the first point of contact for staff grievances and workplace issues.
-Support conflict resolution and maintain positive employee relations.
-Draft and manage disciplinary documentation (show cause, warning letters, etc.) while ensuring fairness and compliance.

5. Compliance & HR Policies
-Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian Labour Laws and statutory requirements.
-Assist in developing and enforcing HR policies and procedures.
-Support internal and external HR audits.

6. Performance & Training Support
-Assist in tracking employee performance appraisal processes.
-Coordinate staff training, learning, and development initiatives.
-Monitor staff progress and maintain training records.

7. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
-Support HR initiatives to build a positive workplace culture.
-Assist in planning employee engagement activities, welfare programs, and internal events.
-Foster good communication between employees and management.


Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
-Minimum 2 years of working experience in HR, preferably with exposure to recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
-Good knowledge of Malaysian Labour Law & Sabah Labour Ordinance and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially.
-Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
-Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems will be an added advantage.
