HRBP (F&B)

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee end-to-end human resource functions across our F&B operations. In this role, you will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and workforce planning. The ideal candidate will possess strong HR operational expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to support a multi-outlet business environment while working closely with Mandarin-speaking management, staff, and business partners.

Roles & Responsibilities:


The HR Manager will be expected to:

Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding activities for outlet operations and corporate staff.

Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary issues, conflict resolution, and grievance management.

Oversee payroll administration, compensation and benefits management, and statutory compliance, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and income tax requirements.

Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and employee handbooks in compliance with labour regulations.

Drive performance management initiatives, employee development programs, and training activities.

Manage manpower planning and headcount budgeting across multiple outlets and business functions.

Liaise closely with management and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, including headquarters, business partners, and franchise owners, on HR-related matters.

Ensure compliance with the Employment Act and all relevant labour regulations and statutory requirements.

Support organizational growth by implementing effective HR practices and workforce strategies.

Provide guidance and support to management on HR policies, employee matters, and workforce planning.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial position.

Prior experience within the Food & Beverage, Retail, or Hospitality industry is preferred.

Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, Employment Act requirements, and statutory regulations.

Hands-on experience managing HR operations across multiple outlets or locations.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.

Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.

Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
