Inspector of Work

To help in realizing our vision, we are now hiring an Inspector of Work for Civil and Structural, Architecture, and Mechanical and Electrical.



Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil and Structural Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical & Electrical, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management.

5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in construction and property development, preferably in landed and high-rise construction.

Ability to interpret construction drawings and coordinate construction drawings between consultants and contractors.

Ability to monitor the construction work schedule.

Thorough knowledge of Malaysian and local building guidelines, regulations, and bylaws.

Experienced in site and contract management, and planning, and coordinating site activities.

Knowledge in QLASSIC/ CONQUAS 21/ AUTOCAD.

Registered IOW would be an added advantage.



Responsibilities:

Oversee daily construction activities and ensure regulatory compliance.

Maintain all relevant forms, documents, correspondence, and records about the progress of work.

Review all construction drawings and specifications (building and infrastructure, the S&P Agreement, the method statement, and report any discrepancies).

Review construction plans and specifications to ensure they comply with local and national building codes and standards.

Report any findings to superior/ higher management and provide recommendations for corrective actions, if necessary.

Attend regular meetings with the project team, contractor, and consultants to discuss progress, issues, and potential solutions.

Checking/ verifying work done for Stage Billing claims.

To perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
