Interior Designer

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Art, Design, Creative Multimedia, Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years working experience in a related field is required for this position.
Required languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Preferably candidates at Executive or Senior level, specializing in Architecture / Interior Design or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and 3D Max with V-Ray.
Willing to lead the design team and serve as the creative driver of the project team.
Meticulous and detail-oriented in handling assigned design projects.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities

Develop creative design concepts and produce contract documents based on client requirements.
Conduct meetings with clients to gather project requirements and establish design direction.
Prepare detailed shop drawings and construction drawings for tendering and construction purposes.
Create both 2D and 3D design concepts for submission and presentation purposes.
Conduct accurate site measurements to produce as-built floor plans and elevations.
Develop project budgets and ensure proper documentation of all design activities and changes.
Manage coordination and logistics for product deliveries and on-site installations.
Provide follow-up support to clients, installers, and suppliers to ensure project success.
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
