Inventory Analyst - Finance

Responsibilities:

Daily checking on the accuracy & timely update of inventory movement related data into Oracle system inclusive all kinds of inventories

Checking/verifying the inventory control system operationally, eg. SOP walkthrough & recommendation for improvement

Conduct stock count - cycle count, monthly count, quarterly count & yearly count & all stock count related matters (major)

Prepare stock reconciliation report & all related investigations (major)

Attend to the metal scrap sales as witness and compile for scrap disposal data for analysis

Support all financial initiatives to drive growth and compliance from time to time.

Any other job function assigned and new responsibilities may be added as and when necessary from time to time.

To update the inventory system for any inventory related matter, eg. Register of new items, stock adjustment, etc

To do Fixed Asset tagging and yearly sighting

To support HQ-FIN in monthly accounting closing and reporting



Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Finance / Accounting / Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Civil Engineering or any other related studies.

Accurate, analytical and able to work and meet deadlines.

Good commercial and operational acumen and with ability for hands-on engagement;

Passion for detailed work and drive to ensure timely and quality deliverables;

Must be proactive, a team player and good communication skills; and

Some travelling to EPM’s factories and sites required.
