IT Manager

Core Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Security: Maintain essential hardware, software, and networks. Develop and implement disaster recovery plans, backup procedures, and cybersecurity protocols to safeguard company data.

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff. Assign tasks, evaluate performance, and foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Project Management: Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Budgeting & Vendor Management: Draft and oversee the annual IT department budget. Negotiate and manage contracts with external IT vendors and service providers.

Business Alignment: Partner with department heads to assess technology needs and recommend system upgrades or process optimizations to improve productivity.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience: Typically 3-7+ years of progressive experience in IT systems, with a proven track record of team leadership or project management.

Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of network administration, cloud computing, cybersecurity frameworks, and database management.

Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, strategic planning, cross-functional communication, and conflict resolution capabilities.
