Job Description

Job description:
• Liaise with business users & IT department
• Provide training, guidance, and support to end users
• Perform any ad hoc IT duties as assigned
• Provide Level 1 & Level 2 support for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Respond to support tickets, calls, emails, and walk-ins promptly.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Assist in network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
• Manage Active Directory domain users: create, modify, and deactivate accounts.
• Setup and maintain corporate email accounts (Microsoft 365 / Exchange).
• Configure access for business applications and internal systems.
• Assign permissions and monitor account usage to ensure security compliance.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
• Support Microsoft 365, AD/Azure AD, antivirus tools, productivity software, and internal systems.
• Assist with basic system integration and automation tasks.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
• Support device deployment and onboarding for new employees.
• Conduct routine IT maintenance: system updates, patching, and monitoring.
• Document troubleshooting steps, workflows, and user guides.
• Coordinate with vendors or external support for escalations or repairs.
• Ensure devices and accounts comply with IT security policies.
• Identify and report potential security risks or incidents.
• Support implementation of cybersecurity tools and practices.
• Gain exposure to system development tasks under supervision.
• Learn programming basics, API integrations, and automation scripts.
• Participate in testing, development support, or small-scale projects.
• Liaise effectively between business users and the IT department to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
• Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to end users to optimize system usage and productivity.
• Perform ad hoc IT tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support business operations and IT initiatives

Job requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of IT support, helpdesk, or technical experience
• Knowledge of Windows & macOS environments.
• Familiar with Active Directory, email systems, and application account management.
• Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and enterprise systems.
• Exposure to scripting or programming is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, including development skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment and perform effectively under pressure.
• Office-based role with occasional remote support.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English; proficiency in Chinese and Mandarin is preferred.
• May require after-hours support for system upgrades or incidents.
• Willingness to work on a daily shift basis from Monday to Sunday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM GMT+8) at PPG premises.
