Laser Cutting Operator

- Operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut sheet metal according to engineering drawings and specifications.

- Load and unload raw materials (metal sheets) onto the laser cutting machine.

- Set up machine parameters such as cutting speed, power, and focus according to material type and thickness.

- Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth production and prevent defects.

- Ensure cutting accuracy and product quality meet customer specifications.

- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (vernier caliper, ruler, etc.).

- Identify cutting defects and report abnormalities to the supervisor.

- Maintain production records and job documentation.

- Perform basic machine setup before production.

- Conduct routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of the laser machine.

- Report machine malfunctions or maintenance issues.

- Follow company safety procedures and wear required PPE.

- Maintain a clean and organized working area according to 5S standards.

- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials.

- Support production improvement activities to enhance productivity and reduce material wastage.

- Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions.
