Logistics Officer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Follow up, tracking and record in database of orders and shipments for designated project from order issuance to delivery

Documents checking in compliance with our internal requirements (invoice, packing list, other documents required) and based on international and local regulation

Issue shipping documents when requested

Request for quotation and find the best way to deliver the orders (quality, cost, deadline)

Choose the right mode of transport to fulfill delivery target

Coordinate and provide shipping instructions to forwarders, shippers, agents

Send pre-alert to stakeholders (project manager, agent, ship)

PO issuance and costs tracking

Objectives:

High level of service, customer satisfaction, respect of the KPI

Reduce/improve lead time, orders anticipation (help the supplier to anticipate the delivery date)

Keep track of orders for a delivery on time in full

Keep cost under control

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Diploma in Transportation/Supply Chain with 2 to 5 years’ experience.

Logistics knowledge for air, sea, ground transportation (shipper, consignee, online schedules for our ships, ETD/ETA, incoterms, documents issuance and important data to be mentioned)

Incoterms (latest version)

Excel: pivot table, conditional format, formulas (V/Xlookup, if, max, min, sumif, count…)

Good communication skills.

Appreciated knowledge: Customs regulation and/or Dangerous goods regulation.
