Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, agitators, centrifuges, boilers and other rotating/static equipment

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults to minimize production disruptions

Assist in equipment overhauls and shutdown activities

Support the installation, alignment and testing of new machinery and utilities

Conduct daily inspection of operating equipment to detect leaks, abnormal noise, vibration or wear

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field

3 years experience as a mechanical technician, preferably in palm oil, oleochemicals, refinery or chemical process industry

Familiar with rotating and static equipment maintenance

Able to interpret mechanical drawings, P&ID and equipment manuals

Able to work overtime and perform shift work when required
